3 years and counting!

It is now over 3 years since Christ Church Community Centre opened its doors to the residents of Higher Bebington.  Over those three years the Community Centre has gone from strength to strength with Christ Church offering a wide range of activities and support services to the local community. These include:

  • Parents and Tots groups
  • Carers support group
  • Knit and Natter group
  • Bereavement Support group
  • Mental Health support group
  • Coffee mornings
  • Lunch club
  • Monthly film club

While there is an excellent mix of other users to suit all ages, these include

  • Rainbows, Brownies and Guide packs
  • Children’s Dance classes
  • Baby Sensory classes
  • Goshinjutsu lessons
  • Pilates, Keep fit and Yoga classes
  • Townswomen Guild and Women’s Institute meetings
  • Choir
  • Weight Watchers meetings
  • Photography lessons

Along with the regular programme of events there are also some excellent one off events.  Over the weekend of 14/15th June, Wirral Grammar School for Boys are presenting “Postcards from the Front” an exhibition of art work and music commemorating the centenary of the start of World War One.  While on the 12th July Christ Church will holding its Summer Fair, including the crowing of the Rose Queen.
