Last Sunday morning we welcomed Revd Flight Lieutenant Loach and his wife Sarah who were paying a flying visit to Wirral ahead of Revd Mike starting as Padre at RAF Waddington on 23 June.

Revd Mike was Vicar of Christ Church Higher Bebington from January 2015 to February 2025. He then undertook the arduous 13 week Specialist Initial Training Course with others almost 30 years younger. Having successfully completed the course, the Passing Out Parade was held at RAF Cranwell on 29 May where the Reviewing Officer was Air Chief Marshall Sir Richard Knighton KCB ADC FREng.
